- The news presenter for the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV during the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. this Tuesday (Darwin Singleton of "Local 15 Today") seemed relieved about this day being "Election Day" in the United States while presenting certain parts of its broadcast (such as the introductions to the first and second halves of its broadcast for this Tuesday).
- The news presenter for the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. this Tuesday (Devon Walsh of "WKRG News 5 at Noon") used the phrase, "In non-election news" after presenting a report unrelated to any of the elections held in various parts of the United States this Tuesday in a segment of the program without any reports about any one of those elections at all (the first segment of the program (the one that preceded its first break and the segment with its news presenter using the phrase, "In non-election news") and the had reports about elections in their local broadcast area and other parts of the United States).
- The main broadcast channels for WPMI-TV and WEAR-TV each had a local news program and a syndicated entertainment program instead of special network programming about various elections held in various parts of the United States this Tuesday from their main providers of network programming during the hour of 6:00 p.m. this Tuesday (the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) was the provider for WPMI-TV whereas the one for WEAR-TV was the American Broadcasting Company (ABC); as for their news and entertainment programs, the ones for WPMI-TV were "Local 15 News at 6 p.m." and "Entertainment Tonight" respectively whereas the ones for WEAR-TV were "Channel 3 News" and "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" respectively also).
