- Some images related to the history of WALA-TV were uploaded onto a Facebook page for one of the news presenters for the local news operation at WALA-TV (Bob Grip) earlier this calendar week.
- The
main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV started having a new edition of a
national news program from its main provider of network programming
("Early Today" from the National Broadcasting Company (NBC)) from the
beginning of one of its later segments about two minutes having a new edition of a
syndicated news program mainly about entertainment ("Entertainment Tonight") in a time period not normally used in its presentations of it in recent times this Friday (sometime between 3:52 a.m. and 4:22 a.m.) due to some live football programming (from the same provider of network
programming) it had the previous day.
- One of the weather reporters for the local news operation at WKRG-TV (John Nodar) interviewed a producer of theirs specialized in promotions (Ariel O'Hern) and a news reporter for a local news program of theirs for their companion station (Katrice Nolan of "The CW55 News at 9" for WFNA-TV) about a plan to hold auditions for a new promoter for the companion station next Monday on the twenty-first day of this November (the interview was part of a local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV between one of its breaks from having a national news program from its main provider of network programming ("CBS This Morning" from the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS)) this Friday).
