plan to have one of its regular programs for Monday
through Friday in recent times (a comedic syndicated program named "The Andy Griffith Show") appear on the main broadcast channel for their companion
station (WFNA-TV) on a daily basis from Monday through Friday (between
9:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.*) beginning with the Monday of the fifth day of this December due to a plan to extend one of its local news programs ("WKRG News 5 at 6 [p.m.]") into its regular time period for those days (6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.) by then (see third paragraph for more information about this plan).
- WKRG-TV had a promotional video (in their programming) about a plan to have a special TV program about the football teams for the University of Alabama and Auburn University (including a plan for the teams to play football together this Saturday on the twenty-sixth day of this November) appear on the main broadcast channels of both their broadcast operation and the one for their companion station (WFNA-TV) between this Thursday on the twenty-fourth day of this November and this Friday on the twenty-fifth day of this November (the one for WKRG-TV was set to have it both this Thursday (between 6:30 p.m. and 7:00
p.m.) and Friday (between 12:00 p.m. and 12:30 p.m.) whereas the one for WFNA-TV was only set to have this Thursday (between 9:00 p.m.
and 9:30 p.m.)).
- The main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV had promotional videos about plans to extend the time period for their local news program for the
hours of 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. for Monday through Friday ("WKRG News 5 This Morning") to the beginning of the second half of the hour of 4:00 a.m. for those days and extend the time period for their local news program for the first half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. for those days ("WKRG News 5 at 6") to the beginning of the hour
of 7:00 p.m. on the Monday of the fifth day of this December (the
channel was usually set to have a national news program from their main
provider of network programming ("The CBS Morning News" from the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS)) during the second half of the hour of 4:00 a.m. from Monday through Friday).
