News for Friday, February 10th, 2017

• The official World Wide Web site for WPMI-TV had an article dated for this Friday about how they and their companion station (WJTC-TV) were set to have special programming about certain Carnival parades expected to occur in southwest Alabama this February. 

• The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the second half of the hour of 6:30 p.m. had what appeared be a live Carnival parade in the city of Mobile in southwest Alabama in some parts of its broadcast (one part of it involved one of the weather reporters for their local news operation (Thomas Geboy) doing a report about it).

• One of the persons on the local news program mentioned in the previous paragraph (a news presenter named Peter Albrecht) said the parade mentioned in that paragraph was being streamed onto the official Facebook page for their broadcast operation during its broadcast (you may access recordings of those streams through these hyperlinks).
