- One of the news presenters for the local news operation at WPMI-TV (Darwin Singleton) usually referred to their selves as "the NBC affiliate in [the city of] Mobile [in southwest Alabama]" while hosting a special program about a (live) Carnival parade in Mobile that appeared on the broadcast channel of their companion station (WJTC-TV) this past Friday on the twenty-fourth day of this February (during the second half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. and the hour of 7:00 p.m. that day).
- A former resident of Mobile who later became a resident of the city of Boston in the state of Massachusetts in order to be one of the radio announcers for one of the radio stations located there (WBWL-FM) in addition to one of the radio stations located in Mobile (WKSJ-FM*) was one of the hosts for the the TV program mentioned in the previous paragraph of this report (Colton Bradford was the name of this former resident).**
- The main broadcast channel for WFGX-TV was set to have a special program about a (live) Carnival parade in the city of Pensacola in the state of Florida from their companion station (WEAR-TV) this Saturday (during the hour of 2:00 p.m.).
(**the main broadcast channel for WJTC-TV was set to have another program about another Carnival parade in Mobile from WPMI-TV with the same former resident of Mobile as one of its hosts (the other one was a news reporter for WPMI-TV named Katie Herrera) this Saturday (between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.).
