- A former host for a radio program for Mississippi Public Broadcasting usually broadcast on Wednesdays named "Everyday Tech" was one of the guests in its broadcast for this Wednesday (the name of the host was Ashley Jefcoat; as for when it was broadcast this Wednesday, it was during the hour of 10:00 a.m. (its usual time period for being broadcast)).
- The live video stream for WALA-TV had video of a meeting concerning a member of the Senate of the United States originally from the city of Mobile in southwest Alabama (Jefferson (Jeff) Sessions) instead of some of the last few parts of one of their local news programs ("FOX 10 News in the Morning") and a local program of theirs dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles ("Studio 10") while they were in their programming this past Tuesday on the thirty-first day of this past January (the last few parts of the local news program were part of their programming during the second half of the hour of 8:00 a.m.; the last entertainment and lifestyle program was part of it during the hour of 9:00 a.m.).
- One of the news presenters for the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. this past Tuesday (Bob Grip on "FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m." (its other news presenter was named Lenise Ligon)) had used part of its broadcast to say they wanted to wish one of the other news presenters for their local news operation (Renee Dials) a happy anniversary and thank her for her "time and service" to the operation while static images of her (from her time as a member of the operation (forty years) appeared as part of its broadcast (note: some of which were uploaded onto the official Facebook page for their local news operation and their broadcast operation in general earlier that Tuesday).
