News for Wednesday, February 8th, 2017

• The broadcast frequency for WABF-AM had no programming at various points between this past Tuesday (on the seventh day of this February) and this Wednesday (it had programming by the time of this writing).  

• A message dated for the Sunday of the fifth day of this February attributed to one of its news presenters and news reporters at WALA-TV (Candace Murphy) suggesting that viewers of their local news programs keep their eyes "peeled" for more changes planned for those programs after the ones made to one of them the previous day (the Saturday of the fourth day of this February) was posted onto the "wall" of their official Facebook page by that Sunday.

• The "preview" for the local news program that was set to appear on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the second half of the hour of 4:00 a.m. and the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. this past Tuesday on the seventh day of this February ("WKRG News 5 This Morning") had a transparent version of the ticker normally used in its broadcasts in recent times (the "preview" appeared on the channel about five minutes before the middle of the hour of 4:00 a.m.; the time the program began appearing on the channel).
