- A World Wide Web site specialized in audio and video recordings named YouTube had some recordings of a former TV program for WALA-TV dedicated to news and public affairs named "Visions".
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. this Sunday ("FOX 10
News in the Morning") had what appeared to be live reports (such as this one) about segways in the down-town area of the city of Mobile in southwest Alabama.
- Some videos of various landscapes
and seascapes (such as the down-town area of the city of Mobile) started appearing on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV on a regular basis by this calendar week (they usually had one of the logos for WALA-TV with text of the name "WALA-TV" itself and the names of two of the cities in their local broadcast area (Mobile in the state of Alabama and Pensacola
in the state of Florida) and a professional announcer (named Greg
O'Neill") saying either either, "You're watching FOX 10: Committed to you" or "Thank you for watching FOX 10: Committed to you".
