- The broadcast frequency for WABF-AM had no programming of theirs for several minutes during some of the morning hours of this Tuesday (including the hours of 5:00 a.m., 6:00 a.m., 7:00 a.m., 8:00 a.m., and 9:00 a.m.).
- The audio stream on the official World Wide Web for WABF-AM still had some programming of theirs at the time their broadcast frequency was without any programming of theirs this Tuesday (one of the hosts on the stream (Lori Dubose) had acknowledged that they were not on the frequency (or "not on the radio" as she put it) before offering as explanation as to why it was not on the frequency ("engineering was doing some work") after conducting an interview with the mayor of the city of Fairhope in southwest Alabama (Karin Wilson) on the stream (it was part of a regular feature of their programming of recent times named "Community Contact".*)
- Some of the news presenters for the local news operation at WKRG-TV had
been using some of their local news programs (mainly their local news programs for the first halves of the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. for calendar days other than Saturday and Sunday ("WKRG News 5 at 5:00 p.m." and "WKRG News 5 at 6:00 p.m.") to promote network programs (from their main provider of network
programming (the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS))) expected to appear
on their main broadcast channel during the hours of 7:00 p.m., 8:00
p.m., and 9:00 p.m. on calendar days other than Saturday and Sunday on a regular basis since the first half of this February (WPMI-TV was usually the only to have promotions like those on some of their local news programs on a regular basis before this February (they usually involved network programs from their own main provider of network programming (the National Broadcasting Company (NBC))).
(*the frequency had programming by the end of the first half of the hour of 9:00 a.m.)
