- WALA-TV had a new digital sub-channel added to their broadcast operation earlier this February (it was to be used for broadcasting programs for a national TV programming service named Laff).
- Some still images of a Carnival parade in front of the former broadcast studio for WALA-TV in the down-town area of the city of Mobile during past calendar years and video of various members of their local news operation participating in a Carnival parade during the current calendar year were part the local news program that appeared on their main broadcast channel during the hour of 9:00 p.m. this past Monday on the twentieth day of this February ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.").
- The live video stream for WKRG-TV had video of network programs from their main provider of network programming (the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS)) and video of a white rectangle moving up and down in front of a some text and a backdrop consisting of static rectangles of various sizes and colors when it usually had local news programming for their main broadcast channel between the hours of 4:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. this Tuesday (the network programs from the provider were "The CBS Morning News" during the last few five minutes of the first half of the hour of 4:00 a.m. and "CBS This Morning" during the last five minutes of the first and second halves of the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.; as for the text, it was "COMING UP 8A-10A (NYCT) CENTRAL & MOUNTAIN NY-MDC-CBS TIME ZONE FEED OF CBS THIS MORNING HD").*
