- The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. and the first half of the hour of
10:00 p.m. on the Monday of the twenty-ninth day of this January ("FOX
10 News at 9:00 p.m." and "FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m." respectively)
mainly had reports and discussions of a fire involving two automobiles (note: a Facebook page attributed to WALA-TV appeared to have had live video of the second program mentioned with some of those reports).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. this Tuesday
("WKRG News 5 at 5") appeared to have had one of its reporters (a news
reporter named Joseph Blake (J. B.) Biunno) and its news presenters (Peter Albrecht and Devon Walsh) discussing ideas to make certain parts of the state of Florida (including parts of it in their local broadcast area) part of the Eastern time zone like the rest of it (note: a Facebook page attributed to WKRG-TV appeared to have had video of most of the discussion).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. on the Monday of
the twenty-ninth day of this January ("WKRG News 5 at Noon") appeared
to have had live video of a reporter for the news operation at WKRG-TV
(Katarina Luketich) in a remote location saying a certain Jonah Neal had
said, "F (or "eff") the court system" whereas a World Wide Web site attributed to
WKRG-TV appeared to have had an article of a report related to what she was saying posted earlier that day (and updated afterwards) in which this Jonah Neal was described as
having said, "F**K the court system".
- A Facebook page attributed to a business in the city of Mobile in
southwest Alabama with named Mobile Bay Coins & Jewelry appeared to
have had certain messages
attributed to its administration dated for this Tuesday pertaining to a
plan to host a local (weekly) radio program related to the business ("Two Guys and Some Change" for WAVH-FM) for a period of time earlier than the one usually listed as its period of time on a World Wide Web site attributed to the station for which it was produced in recent times (the period of time for which it was usually listed by the aforementioned site was "8-9PM"; as for the period of time for which it was listed by the aforementioned Facebook page: "6 PM - 7 PM").*
- The first part of the local news program that appeared on the main
broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 5:00 p.m. this Tuesday
("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of its news
presenters (Bob Grip) saying, "A breaking news exclusive" before having
its other news presenter (Lenise Ligon) saying, "Today a judge granting a
trial in FOX 10's lawsuit against the city of Mobile seeking the
release of police body camera video that showed a controversial
officer-involved incident" and one of its reporters (Kati Weis)
introducing a video
of a report related to what he was saying immediately afterwards (note:
the name "FOX 10" was often used as a nickname for the news operation
at WALA-TV and WALA-TV in general in some of the local news programming
they had in recent times) .
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel
for WKRG-TV during the second half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. on the
Monday of the twenty-ninth day of this January had audio of one of its
reporters (a sports reporter named Randy Patrick Setterstrom) saying a
certain Robert Brazile "certainly deserves to be in the hall of fame"
after saying, "Hopefully he'll be coming home with a hall a fame status"
after telling one of its news presenters (Peter Albrecht"), "I don't
know if you follow this thing, but when they have the nominees and the
finals for the hall of fame, they put them in a hotel room after the
committee meets. The guys that make it, they go down the hallway and
knock on that door" and the news presenter saying, "They get that knock
on that door and we'll be hoping that Robert will be hearing that on
Saturday" afterwards.
