- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Saturday of the thirtieth day of this December ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") had its news presenter (Devan Coffaro) using the word "our" in reference to a certain bureau while appearing to introduce a video of its reports (this is what she was saying: "FOX's Garrett Tenney has more from our Washington bureau").
- The main broadcast channel for WALA-TV appeared to have a recording of a special program from their main provider of network
programming (the FOX Broadcasting Company) described as "live" during the hour of 11:00
p.m. on the thirty-first day of December for the previous calendar year
and the first half of the hour of 12:00 a.m. for this Monday (the name of it was "Fox's New Year's Eve With Steve Harvey: Live From Times Square").
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WKRG-TV during the hour of 12:00 p.m. this Monday ("WKRG News 5 at
Noon") appeared to have had live video of a person using the word "hell" in a profane way while being interviewed by a news reporter (named Hayley Minogue) for the local news operation at WKRG-TV for what appeared to had been a live report from a remote location concerning a certain type of event* (he was saying,
"Hell no!" in response to a question of whether he would think of doing
a certain act again before saying, "Yeah, I'll do it again. It was awesome" one second awards).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV sometime between the beginning of the hour of 10:00 p.m. and the end of the hour of 11:00 p.m. on the Sunday of the thirty-first day of December for the previous calendar year ("WKRG News 5 at 10" in the year 2017) had its news presenter (Ashley Knight) asking, "Well wouldn't it be great if the government just called you up and said they were giving you thousands of dollars and you didn't have to pay it back" before having her saying, "Well it sounds a lot like the latest scam going around the port city. I spoke with one woman who was the target of the scam and wants to warn others" before having video of a report with a narrative similar to what she was saying whereas the the local news program that appeared on it this during the second half of the hour of 4:00 a.m. and the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. this Monday ("WKRG News 5 This Morning") had one of its news presenters (Bill Riales) saying, "We ring in the new year with a scam buster warning: beware of callers saying you have thousands of dollars coming to you from the federal government. News 5's Ashley Knight spoke with one woman who was a target of a scam and wants to warn others" before having the same video.
