- A certain TV program for WKRG-TV named "WKRG Sports Overtime" appeared
to have had its host (Robby Baker) saying, "Some history was also made
in week one up at the Crampton Bowl, the challenge of champions game
between Sweet Water and Clarke County -- you saw it here on the CW -- it
was the first instant replay challenge ever. Also it was first of the
season" (while appearing to have had a digital graphic with text of
"FIRST HS FOOTBALL CHALLENGE") and a certain video with a digital
graphic involving texts of "COMING UP..." and "HEADLINE TEXT HERE" (note: the
program appeared to had been part of the programming of the main
broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the second half of the hour of
10:00 p.m. on the Sunday of the twenty-sixth day of this August).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WKRG-TV during the second half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. on the Monday of
the twenty-seventh day of this August ("WKRG News 5 at 6:30") appeared
to have had one of its news presenters (Rose Ann Haven) saying, "The
Holy fire in southern California flared up today. The fire started on
August sixth and was more than ninety percent contained a few days ago.
This morning, the fire flared up on top of Santiago Peak, where there
are several television towers, including some CBS towers. Officials
say the flare up was stopped outside the containment lines and reached
forty acres. The Holy fire has burned more than twenty thousand acres"
for one of its presentations (note #1: WKRG-TV was usually connected to a
certain provider of network TV programs named both "CBS" and the Columbia Broadcasting System before then (note #2: the program appeared
to have had a certain video involving text of "HOLY FIRE" and "RIVERSIDE
COUNTY, CA" for some of the presentation)).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel
for WALA-TV during the hour of 10:00 p.m. on
the Friday of the seventeenth day of this August (within a period of thirty minutes) appeared to have had
its news presenter (Byron Day)
saying, "And FOX 10 News committed to family -- and also going on this
weekend the Great Expectations event. We're teaming up with Infirmary
Health for it; the expo is for expected moms and their families. It
provides opportunities to get connected with doctors and two of the
birthing center there; there will also be door prizes as well as
educational booths.The expo is this Sunday from two until four three
locations: Mobile Infirmary, North Baldwin Infirmary in Bay Minette, and
Thomas Hospital in Fairhope, and by the way, it is free to attend
(along digital graphics and texts of "GREAT EXPECTATIONS EXPO" and "FREE
MOTHER-TO-BE EVENT" and a separate group of graphics with "GREAT
EXPECTATIONS EXPO" and "FREE MOTHER-TO-BE EVENT "Sunday: 2pm - 4pm" "3
LOCATIONS" "Mobile Infirmary", "North Baldwin Infirmary", "Thomas
Hospital".
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the hour of 7:00 a.m. on the Sunday of the twenty-sixth day of this August ("FOX 10 News at 7:00
a.m.") appeared to have no audio while appearing to have had a certain
being speaking to its news presenter (Asha Staples) from a location
separate from that of the news presenter (note #1: the program appeared
to have had the news presenter saying this immediately afterwards: "All
right, thank you so much for that information. We'll check back in with
you one more time in our next half hour immediately afterwards (note #2:
a separate part of the program appeared to have had the sane news
presenter saying, "The Gulf Coast Exploreum in conjunction with the
Autism Society of Alabama invites you to a sensory experience today.
It's the newest exhibit as we mentioned at the Exploreum and we had mic
issues and -- a couple of minutes ago -- but we're joined again by Angel
Loewen with the Autism Society of Alabama. What can you tell folks
about this...unique event?" before appearing to have had the guest
mentioned earlier saying, "Well good morning. Today's event starts at
eleven forty-five -- that's when the doors will open here at the
Exploreum" immediately afterwards)).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the second half of the hour of 4:00 a.m. and the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on the Monday of the twenty-seventh day of this August ("WKRG News 5 This Morning") appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Bill Riales) saying, "Well it's been a year since Hurricane Harvey dumped more than fifty inches of rain and left a hundred twenty-five billion dollars in damage in southeast Texas. Three hundred thousand structures were damaged in Houston alone. According to a recent survey by the Kaiser Family Foundation, ten percent of Texans displaced by Harvey have not been able to return home; fifteen percent of the homes damaged by the storm are still unlivable. It wasn't just homes, there; this is was where KHOU, the CBS affiliate in Houston, used to broadcast. Crews knocked down the building earlier this summer. Flood waters forced the station to evacuate and find a new home (note #1: KHOU-TV was connected to the "CBS" connected to WKRG-TV mentioned in the second paragraph from the top of this report (note #2: the program appeared to have had a certain video involving texts of "NATIONAL NEWS", "ONE YEAR SINCE HURRICANE HARVEY", "10% OF TEXANS STILL DISPLACED ACCORDING TO SURVEY BY KAISER FAMILY FOUNDATION" while appearing to have had the statements attributed to the news presenter mentioned earlier in this paragraph).
