News for Tuesday, August 7th, 2018
- A certain digital sub-channel was usually not part of the broadcast operation for WHBR-TV since the Sunday of the fifteenth day of the month of July for this calendar year (radio frequency 34-3/virtual channel 33-3) appeared to had been part of the operation on a regular basis this Tuesday (note #1: the channel usually appeared to have had programming for a certain TV programming service CTN Lifestyle this Tuesday (note #2: it usually appeared to have had the same type of programming for the same type of service before the Sunday mentioned earlier in this paragraph)).
- The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast
channel for WKRG-TV during the first halves of the hours of 9:00 a.m.
and 12:00 p.m. on the Monday of the sixth day of this August ("WKRG News
5 at 9 [a.m.]" and "WKRG News 5 at Noon" respectively) each appeared to
have had a certain video involving their news presenter (Devon Walsh) and a certain other being whom the news presenter appeared to
had referenced as a "son" as part of that video (note: a certain World Wide Web site related to WKRG-TV appeared to have had a recording of a video similar to this one).
- The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the hours of 5:00 p.m. on the Monday of the sixth day of
this August ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of its
news presenters (Byron Day)
saying, "It's a story that we alerted to you about on our breaking news
notification" while appearing to have had a certain animated sequence involving a graphic resembling a computer with a screen displaying "11:30", "MONDAY, AUGUST 6", "WALA", "Woman, unborn child die in
suspected DUI-related crash", and a graphic resembling text of "FOX 10
News", whereas the one that appeared on the channel during the hour of
9:00 p.m. that day ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had the
other news presenter for the program mentioned earlier (Lenise Ligon)
saying, "A tragic story now from Foley -- a breaking story we first
alerted you to in a breaking news notification on the FOX 10 news app --
a woman and her unborn child are dead after police say another car
going the wrong way hit the car they were in" and the one that appeared
on the channel during the first half of the hour of the 10:00 p.m.
afterwards that day ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had
the news presenter mentioned first saying, "A medical report could be
the only thing standing between a woman and some very serious charges
involving a head-on collision -- a woman and her unborn child were
killed in that wreck; it's a FOX 10 story learned -- we first brought
you as breaking news. It happened last night on the Foley Beach
Express" while appearing to have had a sequence similar to the one mentioned earlier with the the
exception of it not having "11:30" (note: a certain World Wide Web site
related to WALA-TV appeared to have had a video
involving the statements attributed to the news presenter named Byron
Day mentioned near the beginning paragraph along with the animated
sequence also mentioned near the beginning of this paragraph) (update: one part of the local news program that appeared on the channel during the hour of
9:00 p.m. this Tuesday ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had a different news presenter
(Bob Grip)
saying, "Another shooting investigation is underway in Mobile
-- it's a story we first told you about with our breaking news push
alerts this afternoon -- so you make sure you download the app if you
don't
all ready have it --" while appearing to have
had an animated sequence with graphics similar to the ones mentioned earlier in this paragraph with texts of "4:22", "TUESDAY AUGUST 7", "WALA", and "BREAKING: Mobile police
say a
man drove to a dollar store for help after he was shot this
afternoon", whereas a separate part of it appeared to have had the same
news presenter saying, "We have some new developments tonight concerning
that
new stadium for the University of South Alabama: site work has the
facility has begun on campus. it's something we first told you about
with our breaking push alerts this afternoon -- so again, a reminder,
download the app if you don't all ready have it -- university is getting
the site ready by removing existing items from the site of that
proposed stadium" while appearing to have had another sequence with graphics similar to the ones mentioned earlier with texts of "TUESDAY, AUGUST 7", "WALA", and "South Alabama is moving forward with stadium
site work while waiting for the city to decide on funding" (note: a
certain World Wide Web site related to WALA-TV appeared to have had a video
involving the statements attributed to the news presenter mentioned near the
beginning of this update and the animated sequence also mentioned
near the beginning of this update).
