News for Friday, August 17th, 2018
(note: part of a previous report for this weblog named "News for Thursday, August 16th, 2018" was amended)
- A certain Facebook page related to WALA-TV appeared to had received a certain video with a certain message involving text of "FOX10 News producers take a Fri-Yay break to give their propers to Aretha Franklin, the Queen of Soul. #respect" from its administration this Friday.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of
10:00 p.m. on the Wednesday of the fifteenth day of this August ("FOX 10
News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of its news
presenters (Lenise Ligon) saying, "It's news we never wanted to hear"
for one of its presentations.
- A certain Facebook page related to WKRG-TV
appeared to had received a live video related to a certain news program for WKRG-TV (named "WKRG News 5 This Morning") from its this Friday (note #1: the page appeared to had received videos similar to this one over the past year (note #2: the videos usually appeared beside texts of either "FACEBOOK FRIDAY" or "Facebook Friday").
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. this Friday ("WKRG News 5 at 5") appeared to have had one of its reporters (a news reporter named Drexel Gilbert) appear in either two or three different locations next to each other simultaneously for a certain report (note: a certain part of a certain World Wide Web site related to WKRG-TV appeared to have had a video of what might or might had not been a recording of a certain part of the program involving this occurrence).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Thursday
of the sixteenth day of this August ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.")
appeared to have had one of its reporters (a weather reporter named
Jason Smith) saying, "Look at the futurecast -- really showing a lot of
activity along the coast in the morning. You can see this play out again
tomorrow morning; you might want to check in with Michael for updates"
for a certain part of it related to weather without explaining the
"Michael" part of it (note: this is what the program appeared to have had the reporter saying immediately afterwards for the part of it related to weather: "Destin, Pensacola, Baldwin County may be
dodging some showers, and those will continue through about the middle
part of the morning and then things will develop a little bit more on
shore...").
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the second half of the hour of 4:00 a.m. and the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. this Friday ("WKRG News 5 This Morning") appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Jessica Taloney) saying, "Big brother is watching and it's making it harder for criminals to hide from law enforcement. News 5's Jason Carter reports from a new technology center being used to help police fight crime" before appearing to have had a certain video involving a certain report and some digital graphics and texts of "CRIME ALERT", "GULF COAST TECHNOLOGY CENTER OPENS", and "COVERING MOBILE" (note: a certain World Wide Web site related to WKRG-TV appeared to have had a video similar to this for what appeared to had been a recording of a separate news program for the news operation at WKRG-TV).
- The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. and the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Wednesday of the fifteenth day of this August ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m." for the period of time mentioned first; "FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m." for the period of time mentioned second) appeared to had faded to black slower than usual immediately before at least of their breaks from appearing on the channel in those periods of time that day (note: the first program appeared to have had a reporter (named Steve Alexander Ozenovich) and some digital graphics involving texts of "BREAKING NEWS", "AUBREIGH PASSES AWAY", "YOUNG CANCER PATIENT TOUCHED MANY LIVES" immediately before fading that way before one of those breaks and a static image appearing behind texts of "R. I. P. AUBREIGH" and "2007 - 2018" before fading that way before another one of those breaks whereas the second program appeared to have had a similar image appearing behind some digital graphics with texts of "AUBREIGH NICOLAS 2007 - 2018" immediately before fading that way before one of its own breaks).
