News for Friday, August 3rd, 2018

- Some of the local news programs WKRG-TV had on their main broadcast channel since the Thursday of the second day of this August appeared to have had a certain member of their news operation (a sports reporter named Robby Baker) saying phrases such as "welcome to Canton, Ohio" (for the program that appeared on the channel during the first half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. both then* and this Friday* ("WKRG News 5 at 6")0 and "good afternoon everybody along the gulf coast. Robby Baker still up here in Canton" (for the program appeared on the channel during the first half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. this Friday* ("WKRG News 5 at Noon") (*hyperlinks to what appeared to had been recordings on a World Wide Web site related to WKRG-TV)).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Wednesday of the
twenty-fifth day of the month of July for this calendar year ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to
have had one of its news presenters (Lenise Ligon) saying, "We're taking
a look back for this week's Surprise Squad. We headed to Hillsdale to
surprise some active senior citizens", and its other news presenter (Bob Grip)
saying, "That's right. We heard that SAIL [pronounced as if it were one word] -- or Senior Activities
for Independent Living -- needed a few things, so we went shopping and
delivered a big surprise" before appearing to have had a certain video
(involving graphics resembling text of "FOX 10 Surprise Squad") that
appeared to had been part of a previous installment of it that appeared
on the channel in this period of time before this July during the first half of this calendar year (note: a certain part of a World Wide Web site named YouTube that appeared to had been related to WALA-TV appeared to had received a copy of the video on the Wednesday of
the twenty-fifth day of the month of April for this calendar year).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the second day of this August appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Devon Walsh) saying, "Around town now in a Facebook page shared more than two thousand times, a Mobile woman claims she was kicked out of Bel Air Mall because of her shorts. Here are the pictures that Gabriella Gibson posted with her in those shorts. Since the post, there has been an event called calling women to wear shorts to the mall in protest on Saturday. The Shoppes at Bel Air -- they released a statement saying quote, our policy requires all our customers to dress in a manner that reflects our code or conduct. Anyone who violates this policy will be asked to change or leave the premises. Well we wanted to know what you think; so we posted this question on our WKRG Facebook page: are these shorts two short for the mall -- yes or no -- and here's how you responded: most of you -- fifty-nine percent -- said, 'Yes, the shorts are two short', and forty-one percent of you said, 'No, they're not too short'. We want to thank the seventeen hundred people who participated", a group of digital graphics involving texts of "WOMAN CLAIMS TO BE KICKED OUT OF MALL FOR HER SHORTS" and "COVERING MOBILE", a certain image involving animated graphics and text of "TWO SHORT FOR THE MALL", "YES", and "NO", a certain group of digital graphics involving texts of "SHORTS TWO SHORT FOR THE MALL", "WKRG FACEBOOK POLL", "YES - 59%", "NO - 41%", and "TOTAL - 1781 VOTES" (note: an earlier part of the program appeared have had audio of the same news presenter saying, "And a woman claims she was kicked out of Bel Air Mall because of her daisy dukes; her story straight ahead" while appearing to have had a certain video involving digital graphics and texts of "COMING UP" and "SHORT SHORTS" immediately before one of its breaks from appearing on the channel in that period of time that day.
