- I found the ending to this past Saturday's (February 7th) edition of WKRG-TV's local 6:00 p.m. news program ("WKRG News 5 at 6:00 p.m.") very interesting and amusing with its news presenter referring to it by a former brand name for WALA-TV's local news programming ("News 10") and stumbling over it with the main virtual channel number for WALA-TV's programming (Channel 10) while thanking members of the program's audience for watching it (the edition ended abruptly after she said "Channel 10"). I don't know whether the news presenter was doing so on purpose or not, but I still found her doing so both interesting and amusing.
from one of the authors of a former World Wide Web site named Examiner.com, specifically two sections of it that were part of its existence: "Mobile (Alabama) TV Examiner" and "Mobile (Alabama) Radio Examiner" (note: this site could have certain features that could be seen without certain programs blocking them; each period of time mentioned on this site without any indication of the time zone to which it applied was a period of time for the Central time zone of the United States)
