- WFNA-TV recently had a new promotional advertisement for their selves with the main announcer for WKRG-TV's local news programming (Jay Gardner) saying, "You're watching the CW55. TV now".
- WALA-TV had a former director of public safety for Prichard, Alabama be their "crime consultant" for a report broadcast as part of today's edition of their local 5:00 p.m. news program ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.").
- WALA-TV had problems broadcasting video recordings for the first half of today's edition of their local 9:00 p.m. news program ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") and shortened segments for its first half due to those problems (one of the news presenters on the program said the problems were the result of a server crash).
