- The news presenter on this past Wednesday's (February 18th) edition of WJTC-TV's local 6:30
p.m. news program ("Local 15 News at 6:30 on UTV44") said a poem during its preview of a report about plans to publish a story by a late author named Theodor Seuss (Dr. Seuss) Geisel that was discovered by the wife of the author recently (the preview was broadcast seconds before a commercial break).
- According to the official World Wide Web site for Alabama Public Television, a new documentary about Bayou La Batre, Alabama
(southwest of Mobile) was set to be part of their TV network's main
broadcast channels this Sunday between 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. and next
Monday, February 23rd, between 9:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. (note: the main
broadcast channel for the Alabama Public Television station in southwest Alabama (WEIQ-TV)
is radio frequency channel 41-1/virtual channel 42-1).
