• WALA-TV had technical problems in their programming during commercial breaks for their local 9:00 p.m. news program ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") today: some of the commercial and promotional advertisements for their programming appeared out of alignment.

• This past Wednesday's editions of WALA-TV's local 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. news programs ("FOX 10 News at 4:00 p.m." and "FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") on May 13th  had interviews with a resident of Foley, Alabama who was a contestant for the most recent series of editions of the national TV program titled "American Idol'' (the name of the resident was Glennellen Anderson).
