- Today's edition of WPMI-TV's local morning news program ("Local 15 Today") had a video recording of a weather reporter for Saturday and Sunday editions of their local news programming making a ceremonial baseball pitch at Hank Aaron Stadium in Mobile shortly before the start of a baseball game between two professional baseball teams from Mobile, Alabama and Jacksonville, Florida this past Wednesday, May 6th (the names of the team from Mobile was the BayBears; the name of the one from Jacksonville was the Suns; as for the name of the weather reporter, it was Kelly Foster).
from one of the authors of a former World Wide Web site named Examiner.com, specifically two sections of it that were part of its existence: "Mobile (Alabama) TV Examiner" and "Mobile (Alabama) Radio Examiner" (note: this site could have certain features that could be seen without certain programs blocking them; each period of time mentioned on this site without any indication of the time zone to which it applied was a period of time for the Central time zone of the United States)
