• Today's edition of WALA-TV's local entertainment and lifestyle program ("Studio 10") had a segment about an effort to support a new radio station in Mobile named WHEX-LP.

• Earlier today, an administrator for the official Facebook page for WPMI-TV had posted a message there about two satellite dishes being delivered to the broadcast facility for WPMI-TV in Mobile along with a video recording of one of the dishes being installed near the facility (according to WPMI-TV, the reason for their getting new satellite dishes was to replace older ones near the facility; as for what purpose they would serve, they would provide syndicated TV programs for their main broadcast channel).
