I liked the part of the advertisement with the actor who played main character on the program (Vicki Lawrence) as the character herself asking about where she was again and the main announcer for WKRG-TV (Jay Gardner) answering her question by saying, "on the Gulf Coast" since the program was very popular in this area when it was part of their programming and WALA-TV's programming.
(note: you may learn more about how this program was broadcast in this area years ago by selecting this hyperlink: "History of 'Mama's Family' Television in Mobile, Alabama")
from one of the authors of a former World Wide Web site named Examiner.com, specifically two sections of it that were part of its existence: "Mobile (Alabama) TV Examiner" and "Mobile (Alabama) Radio Examiner" (note: this site could have certain features that could be seen without certain programs blocking them; each period of time mentioned on this site without any indication of the time zone to which it applied was a period of time for the Central time zone of the United States)
