- The live video stream for WKRG-TV had none of the local news programming they had on their main broadcast channel between this past Saturday morning (December 5th) and this Monday morning (it had a black screen when it usually had such programming).
- Two radio announcers for WRGV-FM (Matt McCoy and Gregory Hill) appeared on a local TV program for WALA-TV (the name of the program was "Studio 10") as part of a contest for their station involving one of them dressed as an elf today (Gregory Hill was the one dressed as an elf).
- Between this past Sunday (December 6th) and this Monday, some of the news presenters for the local news operation at WPMI-TV used some of their local news programming to promote a plan by a TV station in the District of Columbia with the same owners as their own station to have a public meeting this Wednesday (December 9th) between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.* and a plan for the official World Wide Web site for their own station to have video of the meeting as it happens.
