News for Wednesday, December 9th, 2015

• WALA-TV and WPMI-TV each had a report about a fire damaging the home of two radio announcers for WZEW-FM (Tim Camp and Lee Ann Camp) this past Monday, December 7th, in their local news programming this past Tuesday, December 8th. 

• WALA-TV had a report about some callers of a local radio program for WAVH-FM ("Midday Mobile") discussing an idea proposed by a candidate for the presidency of the United States (Donald Trump) in their local news programming this past Tuesday, December 8th. 

• According to WPMI-TV, the digital sub-channel* for their companion station (WJTC-TV) was set to have programming about a public meeting planned for today by a TV station in the District of Columbia (WJLA-TV) with the same owners that they and the companion station share due to their being members of the Sinclair Broadcast Group (their holding (or parent) company). 

(*it was usually set to have programming from a national TV programming service named Grit every hour each day)
