• The main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV was set to have special broadcasts about a parade of boats expected to occur near Orange Beach, Alabama (southeast of Mobile) this Saturday, December 12th. (the broadcasts were set to be part of their local 5:00 p.m. news program ("Local 15 News at 5 p.m.") and a special program about the parade itself between 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.* that day; as for what the parade would be called, it would be called the "30th Annual Christmas Lighted Boat Parade").

• According to WKRG-TV, the main broadcast channel for their companion station (WFNA-TV) was set to have syndicated programming about a football game involving teams of football players from Alabama and Mississippi with players representing different high schools from their respective states this Saturday, December 12th (the programming was set to last from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.** that day; as for what the game would be called, it would be called the "Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game").
