News for Monday, October 3rd, 2016
- One of the weather reporters for the local news operation at WPMI-TV (Kelly Foster) was one of the news presenters for their local news program for Monday through Friday mornings ("Local 15 Today") while one of their other weather reporters (Jake Dunne) was substituting for her on the same program this morning.
- The live video stream for WKRG-TV had local news programming for the first time since the Thursday of the twenty-ninth day of this past September by 4:59 p.m. (the start time for a local news program of theirs named "WKRG News 5 at 5:00 p.m."). By then, it usually only had video of various buildings in the city of Mobile in southwest Alabama from long distances along with a graphic of one of their logos and the words "We'll Be Right Back" (it usually appeared on the stream between segments of their local news programs separated by advertisements in their TV broadcasts) in place of such programming.
- Before the live video stream mentioned in the previous paragraph had local news programming this Monday, a message (dated for this Monday) attributed to one of the weather reporters for the local news operation at WKRG-TV (Melissa Constanzer) concerning problems they had with the live video stream before then was posted onto their
official Facebook page in response to a message (also dated for this Monday) attributed to a visitor
of the page concerning him or her being unable to receive one of their local news programs through the stream.
