News for Sunday, October 2nd, 2016
- The news presenter on the local news program that appeared on
the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV this past Saturday night on the first day of this October (Rudy Harper) referred to the program by simply the brand name for all of their local news programs ("FOX 10 News", as in, "This edition of 'FOX 10 News' " (the way he used it for example)), since it appeared on the channel in a
time period not normally used for such programming in recent times (11:11 p.m. to 11:44 p.m).
- The programming feeds for the cable TV channels in the cable TV system operated by Comcast Cablevision of Mobile became accessible through one of the official World Wide Web sites for their company (Xfinity) by the start of this October (an account with access to those channels was required to access those feeds through the site)
- The narrator for one of the news reports for the local news program mentioned in the first paragraph (a reporter for WALA-TV named Alexa Knowles) agreed with one of the persons featured in the report calling the person the report was mainly about "crazy".
