- One of the news presenters and news reporters for the local news operation at WKRG-TV (Ashley Knight) said a game of "wheelchair basketball" was personal to some members of the operation while presenting a report about the game on a local news program of theirs that appeared on their main broadcast channel during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. this past Saturday on twenty-second day of this October ("WKRG News 5 at 10").
- One of the digital sub-channels for WKRG-TV (the one that usually had programming from a national TV programming service named Memorable Entertainment Television (it was also named Me-TV)) had an advertisement
with a character resembling one of the candidates for the presidency of
the United States (the one named Donald Trump) promoting an automobile
dealership based in the city of Saraland in the southwestern part of the state of Alabama (Persinger Automobile) this Sunday (the name of the character was "Danald Trump").
- The operators of WDLT-FM, WBLX-FM, WABD-FM, WGOK-AM, and WXQW-AM (Cumulus of Mobile) had an interview with a former secretary for the Department of Labor of the United States originally from the southwestern part of the state of Alabama (Alexis Herman of the city of Mobile) on a new edition of a local radio program of theirs dedicated to news and public affairs named "In Touch Gulf Coast" this Sunday (at least two of those stations were broadcasting the program this Sunday: WDLT-FM between 5:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. and WBLX-FM between 6:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m.).
