News for Thursday, October 6th, 2016

• The main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV had a promotional video about a plan to hold a local theatrical version of a national TV program from their main provider of network programming ("The Price is Right" from the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS)) in the city of Mobile in southwest Alabama on the Thursday of the sixteenth day of next March and a contest in which some residents of their local broadcast area could win tickets to such a show. 

• One of the members of the local news operation at WPMI-TV who usually presented news for their local news program for Monday through Friday mornings since this past Monday on the third day of this October (Kelly Foster of "Local 15 Today") was back to her regular role for the program (weather reporter) this Thursday (the role was held by another member of their local news operation (a weather reporter for Saturday and Sundays editions of their local news programs named Jake Dunne) in the meantime).*

• The first four members of the local news operation at WPMI-TV to assume the role of news presenter for the local news mentioned in the previous paragraph (Jasmine Williams, Andrea Ramey, Christian Jennings, and Katie Herrera) since the Friday of the second day of this past September (it had been without a permanent holder since then) had kept the role for each edition of the program broadcast during the weeks in which had the role unlike the member mentioned in that paragraph.
