- A promotional video for a series of special reports planned for some of the local news programs at WKRG-TV was uploaded onto the official Facebook page for WKRG-TV by this past Friday on the twenty-eighth day of this October.
- One of the news presenters on local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. this past Friday (Rose Ann Haven on "WKRG News 5 at 6") used the last part of its broadcast (the one after its last break for commercial or promotional advertisements) to talk about the wife of a camera operator for their local news operation giving birth to a child earlier that day (she did not mention the surname (or last name) of the wife or her position at WPMI-TV (a news reporter)).
- One of the news presenters for the local news operation at WALA-TV (Lenise Ligon) appeared to be making fun of one of the weather reporters for the operation (Jason Smith) and one of the animated graphics used in a weather segment for a local news program of theirs this past Friday during the last part of its broadcast (between 10:54 p.m. and 11:01 p.m.*) that day (this is what she said about graphic (a mummy) and the reporter: "So I know that mummy there was actually you dancing to Bruno Mars' new song"; this is how the reporter responded to her: "Right, that's the [clue] of what was going on. I was thinking, "Yes, I'm a dancer, crazy looking" (this is what he said about the graphic during its appearance in the weather segment: "That's kind of a crazy looking Halloween dude there").
(*the program was broadcast after their main broadcast channel had special programming about a live baseball game from their main provider of network programming (the
FOX Broadcasting Company)).
