- A recording of the beginning of a local TV program for WKRG-TV named "The Late Show" dated for the Saturday of the fifteenth day of February in the year 1975 was uploaded onto an Internet video service named YouTube by this past Saturday on the eighth day of this October.
- The Alabama Public Radio station in southwest Alabama (WHIL-FM) had a station identification segment not normally used in its programming on an hourly basis this Sunday (it had the name of the station and the names of other Alabama Public Radio stations spoken in different voices and the words "we are Alabama Public Radio" spoken in one of those voices afterwards).*
- The news presenter on the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV this past Saturday evening (Renee Dials between 10:11 p.m. and 10:42 p.m.) used to be their regular local news presenter for their programming on Saturday evenings for several years before they started having different local news presenters in their programming on Saturday evenings by the year 2014 (she continued to be their regular local news presenter for their programming on Sunday evenings afterwards)
