- Some of the local news programs that had appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV since the Saturday of the fourteenth day of this October had some of the weather reporters for their news operation discussing the idea of their holding public meetings at various places in their local broadcast area.
- A Facebook page attributed to WKRG-TV appeared to have had live video of a sports reporter for their news operation (Robby Baker) conducting an interview with a person specialized in analyzing the sport of football for their main provider of network programming (Rick Neuheisel of the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS)) on the Tuesday of the seventeenth day of this October (some of it was part of their local news programming for that day).*
- A World Wide Web site attributed to WALA-TV had an article dated for the Wednesday of the eighteenth day of this October stating their broadcast operation was a recipient of a certain award at a certain luncheon in the city of Mobile in southwest Alabama earlier that day (the local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. and the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. that day ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m." and "FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m." respectively) had one of their regular news presenters (Bob Grip) presenting reports similar to the article along with reports of the luncheon being hosted by a member of their news operation who usually presented news reports with him in previous installments of those programs in recent times (Lenise Ligon).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the nineteenth day of this October appeared to have video of one of its reporters (Toi Thornton) on its set not using names in reference to a certain person for one of its reports before having a separate video related to it that also had no names for this person along with imagery of an entity attributed to her that appeared to had been blurred whereas the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. later that day ("WKRG News 5 at 6") appeared to have a video of one of its own reporters (Hayley Minogue) doing a similar report concerning a certain person before having a separate video related to it in which names were actually being used in reference to this person along with some imagery of an entity attributed to her that did not appear blurry before having a video of the reporter referring to her by one of those names.**
