- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Monday of the twenty-third day of this October and the Sunday of the twenty-second day of this October ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") each had one of the regular news presenters referring to a certain person as a "loving daughter" while saying they had letter from her concerning her papa before presenting video of their being part of a special project for their news operation (the video in the broadcast of the program for the aforementioned Sunday was described by its news presenter as a "preview" of the one in its broadcast for the aforementioned Sunday).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV around the middle of the hour of 6:00 p.m. on the Saturday of the twenty-first day of this October ("WKRG News 5 at 6"*) had its news presenter (Ashley Knight) saying a charitable effort of theirs ("The Ace of Hearts Poker Run") was to "go down in history as a huge success" before introducing video of what appeared to had been a live report related to it by one of the other news presenters for the news operation at WKRG-TV (Rose Ann Haven) before thanking certain participants of the effort for being such participants whereas the local news program that appeared on the channel during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. later that day ("WKRG News 5 at 10") had her presenting another opinionated report related to it that involved her saying, "In...on a lighter note, back here on the gulf coast, the first annual Ace of Hearts Poker Run goes down in history as a huge success" whereas the one that appeared on the channel during the same hour on the Sunday of the twenty-third day of this October** had her presenting another opinionated report about it that had her saying, "It was a great success. A total of five thousand dollars was raised to benefit the American Heart Association. Bikers started early yesterday morning each paying twenty-five dollars at the Mobile Bay Harvey-Davidson and Harley-Davidson at Pensacola. They revved up their engines and headed up to various check points to draw cards hoping to draw the perfect poker hand. The tracks made by those bikers may help save others from heartbreak that comes from heart disease and that is reason enough to celebrate because every hand is a winner in the Ace of Hearts Poker Run.
