- The sports reporters for the local news operations at WKRG-TV (Robby Baker and Randy Patrick Setterstrom), WPMI-TV (Lance Crawford), and WALA-TV (Bri MacNaught) did some reports pertaining to a tropical cyclone named "Nate" between this Sunday and the Saturday of the seventh day of this October.
- The main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV had a local news program at a time when it was usually set to have a national news program from their main provider of network programming ("Sunday Today" from the National Broadcasting Company (NBC)) on Sunday mornings in recent times (the hour of 7:00 a.m.) this Sunday.
- The main broadcast channel for WFNA-TV* and the broadcast frequencies for WAVH-FM and WXQW-AM each had the same programming as the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during some of the morning hours for this Sunday (it was usually programming pertaining to the tropical cyclone mentioned in the second paragraph from the top of this report (A Facebook page attributed to WAVH-FM had a message attributed to its administration dated for the Saturday of the seventh day of this October about the idea of WAVH-FM having such programming whereas a Twitter page attributed to them had a message dated for this Sunday about their continuing to have such programming).
- The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channels for WKRG-TV, WALA-TV, and WPMI-TV between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. this Sunday had certain members of their news operations (the news presenter or news presenters each of them had (Kym Thurman and Greg Peterson on the one for WPMI-TV; Bob Grip** on the one for WALA-TV; Mel Showers and Rose Ann Haven*** on the one for WKRG-TV) and the weather reporter for the one that appeared on the channel for WKRG-TV (Alan Sealls)) who were usually only part of some of the local news programmings they had for Monday through Friday in the same positions they had for those programs in recent times.****
