(note: some of the words in the fourth paragraph from the top of the report titled "News for Thursday, October 26th, 2017" were linked to a page with a video related to its subject and every appearance of the word "forth" in places where the word "fourth" was intended in certain reports published before the one for this Friday was corrected)
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. this Friday ("WKRG News 5 at Noon") had video of a news conference for about fifteen minutes during the first seventeen minutes of that hour.
- A local TV program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles that
appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of
9:00 a.m. this Friday ("Studio 10") had one of its hosts (Chasity Byrd) appearing to express love for a certain group of folks (Chip Gaines and Joanna Gaines)
and her saying the folks had a magazine published by the holding
company for WALA-TV (these were her words while doing so: "their
magazine, the Magnolia Journal, published by this station's parent company, the Meredith Corporation") before having its other host (Michael White*) saying "woo hoo" afterwards before having a video concerning the persons and the magazine.
- The first segment of the local news program that appeared on the main
broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00
p.m. on the Friday of the twenty-seventh day of this October ("WKRG
News 5 at 10") did not have any indication of the rest of its segments
being dedicated entirely to football games involving teams for various
high schools in their broadcast area before the first break of its
broadcast in accordance with the first segments of its previous
broadcasts for Friday since the Friday of the twenty-fifth day of this August
(the segments of their broadcasts for Friday after the first of them
were usually devoted to such football games since then (the segments on
their own were usually called "Friday Night Football Fever")).
- A Facebook page attributed to WKRG-TV appeared to have had live video with audio of one of the news presenters for the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the second half of the hour of 4:00 a.m. and the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. this Friday (Jessica Taloney on "WKRG News 5 This Morning") asking whether a script for the program was "literally a copy and pasted script" concerning the theme of a fair held in the city of Mobile in southwest Alabama during the previous calendar year (2016) or not shortly a few seconds after presenting it as part of its broadcast (both the video on the Facebook page and the program had her saying, "This year's theme: prepare for take off. The fair takes flight" before having her abruptly say, "Actually, it's calling all superheroes" immediately afterwards in reference to the theme for a more recent fair (the sixty-third Greater Gulf State Fair) as for what she said that was audible in the video on the Facebook page regarding the script, she was saying, "Wait a minute, was that literally and copy and paste script from last year? The fair takes flight was last year's theme")
