- A Facebook page attributed to WAVH-FM had a message dated for the Monday of the second day of this October concerning some video of a discussion on a local radio program for WAVH-FM named "Midday Mobile" along with the video itself.
- The main broadcast channel for WALA-TV had a video involving a logo for their broadcast operation and the words "Prayers for Las Vegas" between some of the programs it had between the Monday and Tuesday of the second and third days of this October.
- The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 5:00 p.m. ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") and the hour of 9:00 p.m. ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") on the Tuesday of the third day of this October each appeared to have one of its news presenters (Joe Emer* and Lenise Ligon) on the set normally used for its broadcasts in recent times interacting with a reporter for two TV stations connected to their broadcast operation outside of the TV market for southwest Alabama (KPHO-TV and KTVK-TV** in the city of Phoenix in the state of Arizona) in a remote part of the city of Las Vegas in the state of Nevada for a live report he or she was doing from there (Carissa Planalp for the first program; Jared Dillingham for the second program)***
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the twenty-eighth day of September for this calendar year ("WKRG News 5 at 10") had video of a sports reporter for their local news operation (Randy Patrick Setterstrom) on a set resembling that of a football field normally used in some of the local news programming they had in recent times (specifically parts dedicated to football****) speaking to a reporter for a local TV station connected to them outside of the TV market for southwest Alabama (Steve Dent of WFRV-TV in the city of Green Bay in the state of Wisconsin) through a monitor on the set (he said the reporter was "in Lambeau Field" while introducing him on the program).*****
(***the installment of the first program that appeared on the channel during the hour of 5:00 p.m. this Wednesday appeared to have a reporter for another TV station connected to WALA-TV due to their being part of the holding company mentioned in the sentence above this one (Jeremy Finley of WSMV-TV in the city of Nashville in the state of Tennessee))
(****not to be confused with soccer)
(*****WFRV-TV and WKRG-TV were members of the Nexstar Media Group (note: WFRV-TV and the Nexstar Media Group were not mentioned on the program; even though the reporter was wearing a shirt with the letters "WFRV" and some of the graphics used to identify on the program had the word "Nexstar" beside the words "News Network" together in that order)
