News for Friday, May 25th, 2018 (amended)

- A certain part of the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the
twenty-fourth day of this May ("Sound Off" for "FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to
audio of a certain voice being used to say a certain word described as vulgar by a certain World Wide Web site related to a company specialized in dictionaries named Merriam-Webster.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Monday of
the twenty-first day of this May ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared
to have had one of its news presenters (Lenise Ligon) saying,
"Hopefully your barbecue plans for next weekend aren't ruined" and its
other news presenter (Byron Day) saying, "We've got plenty of time; plenty of time" immediately afterwards after having a report related to weather from one of its reporters (a weather reporter named Jason Smith).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Thursday
of the twenty-fourth day of this May ("WKRG News 5 at 10") appeared to
have had no audible sounds for a period of time that lasted between one
second and five seconds before having a certain noise and audio of one of its news presenters (Mel Showers) saying,
"A fourth fox attack reported in Baldwin County--the victim, a" (while
having some graphics involving text of "JOE LOUIS PATRICK PARK"*) before
suddenly having music and a animated sequence involving text of "COMING
UP", video of a certain person saying, "Well, if I see it, eh, I'm going
to shoot it", and audio of its other news presenter (Rose Ann Haven)
saying, "A fourth fox attack reported in Baldwin County--the victim, a
dog" immediately afterwards (*note: the program appeared to have the
news presenter named Mel Showers saying this before the aforementioned
period of time: "Now a
News 5 update, Daphne Police say the teenager wanted for a series of
armed robberies has surrendered. Police say 18-year-old Leandre Ward
robbed people on Joe Louis Patrick Park late last nigh").
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. on the Wednesday
of the twenty-third day of this May ("WKRG News 5 at Noon") appeared to
have had video of a certain reporter not usually listed as a member of
the news operation for WKRG-TV on a certain World Wide Web page dedicated to such members on a certain World Wide Web site related to them before then holding a microphone with a logo for their broadcast operation while
appearing to report from a location separate from that of the news presenter for the program (note #1: the aforementioned presenter (Devon Walsh) appeared to had interacted with this reporter
from the set of the program without mentioning whether the reporter was a member of WKRG-TV or not (note #2:
the video of the reporter appeared to have had digital graphics with texts of "BREAKING
NEWS", "PEYTON LOCICERO", and "COVERING TEXT" (note #3: the news
presenter appeared to had said this before appearing to have had the
report from the aforementioned reporter immediately afterwards: "Now breaking news: a standoff
at a Destin hotel forced the evacuation of an entire floor. Luckily, no
one was seriously injured; the suspect was taken into custody hours
after the standoff started on Highway 98 -- and that is where we find
Peyton Lucicero -- and Peyton, how did this standoff come to an
end? (note #4: the presenter appeared to had said, "Thanks, Peyton" immediately after the report)))).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel
for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Tuesday of the
twenty-second day of this May ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m." appeared to
have had one of its news presenters (Lenise Ligon) saying, "And FOX 10
News continues the fight for transparency when it comes to police body
camera video; FOX 10 suing the city of Mobile because the police
department refuses to release body cam video. Since the cameras are paid
for by your tax dollars, we believe the video should be made public,
but public safety director James Barber says the department doesn't
have the resources to deal with public requests for the video. A judge
is expected to make his ruling in that lawsuit in the coming weeks"
while having graphics with texts of "TRIAL FOR TRANSPARENCY" and "IS
BODY CAMERA VIDEO PUBLIC RECORD?" whereas the the local news program
that appeared on the channel during the hour of 10:00 p.m. afterwards
that day ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to
have had a different news presenter (Byron Day) saying, "We are continuing the fight
for transparency when it comes to police body camera video;
FOX 10 is suing the city of Mobile because the police department refuses
to
