- Some of the local news programming WKRG-TV had on their main broadcast
channel this Wednesday appeared to
have had some members of their news operation not ending reports with a
phrase often used by them and other members of the operation for other reports that
were part of its programming before this calendar week in recent times
("local coverage you can count on").
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Tuesday of the fifteenth
day of this May ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had audio
of a certain voice being used to say, "Religious nuts in Alabama ought to get
their head out of their" before having audio of a beep immediately
afterwards for a part of it named "Sound Off".
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Tuesday
of the fifteenth day of this May ("WKRG News 5 at 10") appeared to have
had audio of one of its news presenters (Mel Showers) saying, "Our
Birmingham station reached out to the Church of the Highlands for
comment, but they said they've respectively declined" for one of its reports without ever explaining the "Our Birmingham station" part of what he appeared to had been saying.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel
for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. this Wednesday ("WKRG News 5 at Noon")
appeared to have had its news presenter (Devon Walsh) saying, "News 5's
newest reporter Nicolette Schleisman joins us now live from the scene at
Michael Boulevard -- and Nicolette, were there a lot of folks seriously
injured in that crash?" before appearing to have had video of a certain
reporter and some digital graphics involving texts of "BREAKING NEWS",
"NICOLETTE SCHLEISMAN", and "COVERING MOBILE" (note #1: a certain World Wide Web site specialized in audio and video named YouTube appeared to have had some other videos related to WKRG-TV involving news presenters saying, "News 5's newest reporter Nicolette Schleisman" since the Tuesday of the fifteenth day of this May).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Tuesday
of the fifteenth day of this May ("WKRG News 5 at 10") appeared
to have had one of its news presenters (Rose Ann Haven) saying, "A
crime spree lasted ten days and traveled through four states -- Blake
Fitzgerald and Brittany Harper were dubbed Bonnie and Clyde back in two
thousand sixteen -- he would be killed in a shootout with police -- she
survived to face the consequences for the couple's crimes -- today she
pleaded for her crimes in Alabama and she was sentenced -- News 5's
Debbie Williams covered the story back and joins us now live -- and
Debbie this was a crime spree the entire country watched" and a video of
a report with details similar to some of those statements (note: the report began with these words: "A ten-day crimes spree ended violently
on a cold February ninth in Milton, Florida").
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Tuesday of the fifteenth day of this May ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Byron Day) saying, "Also from us tonight: shades of Ferris Bueller's day off: A California high-school student dupes his teachers into helping him hack into the school computer system to change his grades. Here's the story" before having video of a certain report with details similar to those of the report he appeared to had been presenting (note #1: there was no mention of the narrator of the video or any mention of whether the video was originally produced for the news operation at WALA-TV or not (note #2: the local news program that appeared on the channel during the hour of 9:00 p.m. that day appeared to have had the aforementioned news presenter saying, "Lenise, this story will make Ferris Bueller very proud: a California
kid successfully hacked his way into his school's computer system to
change his grades. We'll tell you just how he did it and why
the secret service got involved. That story and much more when I join
you and Lenise for 'FOX 10 News" for ten. Guys" (note #3: one of the news presenters for the program that appeared on the channel during the hour of 9:00 p.m. was named Lenise Ligon (the other one was named Bob Grip)))).
