WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the tenth day of
this May ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of its
news presenters (Lenise Ligon) saying, "A special story just in time for
Mother's Day -- it's a holiday that can be difficult for moms serving
time at Alabama prisons" and its other news presenter (Bob Grip) saying, "But a Baldwin County mom is doing what she can to ease the pain the rest of the year" for one of its reports.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel
for WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the
Thursday of the tenth day of this May ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.")
appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Byron Day) saying,
"Listen to this: an incredible catch at sea by the United States Coast
Guard; they'd hauled in six tons of cocaine -- street value: close to
two hundred million dollars. Here's more on that story" before having a
certain video of a certain report immediately afterwards.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the hour of 7:00 a.m this Sunday ("FOX 10 News at 7:00 a.m.") appeared to have had its news
presenter (Asha Staples) saying, "We here at FOX 10 want to wish all the
mothers out there happy Mother's Day, especially to our moms who
raised us to be the people we are today. Here's a special thank you a
few of us put together for our moms this morning. We love you." before
having a certain video involving graphics resembling texts of the words "happy mother's day" immediately afterwards.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Saturday
of the twelfth day of this May ("WKRG News 5 at 10") appeared to have had its news presenter
(Jason Carter) saying, "Such a cool story..." immediately after having a certain video for one its reports; audio of its weather reporter (a weather reporter
named Thomas Geboy) saying, "I thought it was an awesome timelapse and
wanted to make sure we'd share it with you guys" while having a certain video for a part of it related to weather; and some video of the reporter saying, "As we go into Mother's Day -- happy Mother's Day out there to my
mother, to my grandmother -- we'll say happy mothers day once again
tomorrow, but you can never say it enough as far as I'm concerned" for the same part.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. on the Saturday of the twelfth day of this May ("WKRG News 5 at 6") appeared to have had a certain member of their news operation who was not usually part of its broadcasts for this period of time on Saturday in recent times (a sports reporter named Randy Patrick Setterstrom (note #1: the installment of the program that appeared on the channel in that period of time that Saturday appeared to have had its news presenter (Jason Carter) saying, "And we have a special treat on this Saturday: sports director Randy Patrick in for Robby Baker" and the reporter saying, "Yeah, doing a little bit overtime joining you and I'm looking forward to joining you for some more overtime tomorrow night -- tomorrow night at ten thirty-five on 'WKRG Sports Overtime' " immediately afterwards (note #2: "WKRG Sports Overtime" was the name of a TV program of theirs related to sports))).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel
for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. on the
Thursday of the tenth day of this May ("WKRG News 5 at Noon") appeared
to have had its some digital graphics involving texts of "DR. RICHARD
SNELLGROVE FACES 240 YEARS IN PRISON" and "TRIAL BEGINS TOMORROW IN 3
DOORS DOWN GUITARIST DEATH" while having its news presenter (Devon Walsh)
presenting a report involving some of their details ("It's been two years since the death of Matthew
Roberts, the former guitarist for the band 3 Doors Down. Tomorrow, a
pain doctor from Fairhope is going on trial for Roberts' death. Doctor
Richard Snellgrove is accused of improperly prescribing fentanyl and
other opioids to Robert -- Roberts -- Snellgrove could face over two
hundred years in prison and over two million dollars in fines if
convicted. Roberts died in August of twenty sixteen from an overdose in a
hotel lobby in Wisconsin ).
