News for Thursday, May 3rd, 2018
- The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel
for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. and the first half of the hour
of 10:00 p.m. on the Tuesday of the first day of this May ("FOX 10 News
at 9:00 p.m." and "FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m." respectively) each
appeared to have video of a report involving the words, "It's the mother of all caught in the acts".
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel
for WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the
Tuesday of the first day of this May ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.")
appeared to have had audio of one of its news presenters (Lenise Ligon)
saying, "All right, three Palmer students in Mobile in for a real treat
-- they're going to be flying to Germany next month. What? We'll tell
you why when FOX 10 News continues" before one of its breaks from
appearing on the channel in that period of time that day.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel
for WKRG-TV during the second half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. on the
Wednesday of the second day of this May ("WKRG News 5 at 6:30") appeared to have audio of one of
its news presenters (Rose Ann Haven) saying, "And coming up tonight at
ten, one of the hottest new beauty trends as women are all over social
media showing off those perfect brows; but at what price? This woman
says several days after her microblading appointment, she had to go to
the hospital. When she walked out of the salon, this is how her eyebrows looked, but then the redness started setting, the pain began to
increase, and the swelling. Tonight on 'News 5 at 10': a consumer
investigation, how did this happen and what you can do to make sure your
next trip to the beauty salon doesn't turn into something ugly".
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel
for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Tuesday of the first day
of this May ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") above this one appeared to
have had one of its news presenters (Byron Day) saying, "I like you even
more right now" to one of its reporters (a weather reporter named Jason Smith) immediately after appearing to have had the reporter presenting a report related to weather and its other news presenter (Lenise Ligon) saying, "Perfect" in that order
(the weather reporter appeared to had this near the end of the report: "Here's our extended outlook and rain chances stay
away for the workweek so we get -- have a pretty much a dry week this
week to get some things done outside. Highs in the mid eighties; lows in
the sixties; then into the weekend we go with some spotty showers --
this is a front that moves as -- it's very weak; it's going to stall and drift through the area and as a result we'll see some hit and miss
showers (Byron Day: Sure), but not a big deal for the weekend based on
the current forecast -- in fact, today's rain chances are starting to
trend a little lower for the weekend (Lenise Ligon: It was...) and we will
continue to see this trend as we go through the week (note: the program
appeared to have had the reporter saying the word "optimism" immediately
after appearing to have had the news presenter Byron Day saying,
"I like you even more right now" to him)).
- One of the news presenters for local news program that appeared on
the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. this
Thursday ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to had been a certain member of their news operation who was usually the news presenter for the installments of it that were part of its programming
in that period of time before the month of April for this calendar year in recent times (Bob Grip) whereas the installments of that were part of its programming in that period of time since the Monday of the second day of that month of April usually only appeared to have only the member of the operation who was usually a news presenter with him in those installments (Lenise Ligon) alone in that role (note #1: the installment of the program for the aforementioned period of time for this Thursday appeared to have had the member named Bob Grip saying, "Well it's good to be back after an extended
vacation and, uh, the weather seems to be about the same", and one
of its reporters (a weather reporter named Jason Smith) saying, "Well we're glad to have you back (Bob
Grip: Thank you) -- and I'm sure you had a great trip. Here's what we
have going on forecast wise -- Bob, you know you walked back in to warmer
weather -- when you left it was cold, now we have a warm season brewing.

We wanted to bring him back, but he was not allowed in the overhead bin" (note #4: a Facebook page related to WALA-TV appeared to have had live video of the members named Bob Grip and Lenise Ligon discussing the aforementioned vacation before the hour of 9:00 p.m. this Thursday)))).
