News for Tuesday, May 8th, 2018
- A certain Internet video stream connected to a national TV programming service named BUZZR appeared to have a certain installment of a certain TV program named "Match Game ('75)" in which a certain guest of it appeared to had said, "[I'm] originally from Mobile, Alabama" this Tuesday (note: she appeared to had identified her self by the names "Melvina Johnson" and "Mel" ("for short") while introducing herself on the program).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Saturday
of the fifth day of this May appeared to have had its news presenter (Jason Carter)
saying, "Megan Myers for our sister station in Panama City Beach has
more" before having a certain video of a certain report; and, "And that
was Megan Myers reporting" immediately afterwards without ever having
him
or any other being either identify or explain the references to "sister
station".
- Some of the local news programming WKRG-TV had on their main broadcast
channel this Tuesday appeared to have had certain announcements of their
having a panel of "experts" specialized in "mental health" in
conjunction with announcements related to one of their local news programs ("WKRG News 5 at 10 (p.m.)") and a report of theirs related to "suicide" (note: a Facebook page attributed to a certain member of WKRG-TV named Rose Ann Haven and a Facebook page related to WKRG-TV itself appeared to have had messages and videos related to these announcements).
- The
local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Tuesday
of the seventeenth day of this April ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.")
appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Lenise Ligon) saying, "Ok, we would just don't want a repeat of last weekend" and its other news presenter (Byron Day)
saying, "Oh my gosh -- and I like the way he kind of modifies things; it's
looking good right now. All right, buddy, Thanks so much" immediately
after appearing to have had a weather report from one of its reporters
(a weather reporter for their news operation named Jason Smith).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WKRG-TV during the second half of the hour of 4:00 a.m. and the hour of 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. this Tuesday
("WKRG News 5 This Morning") appeared to have had a certain member of
their news operation who was usually a news presenters for
other installments of it that were part of its programming in this
period of time before then in recent times (Jessica Taloney) coughing
while presenting one of its reports before appearing some video of a certain person speaking before having audio of a different voice being used to present a separate report
and some video of a certain member of the operation who was usually not a news presenter for those other installments (a weather reporter named John Nodar) presenting another report before having a video of a separate report being presented by a news reporter for the operation immediately
afterwards before
appearing to have had the member of the operation who was usually one of its news presenters mentioned earlier
presenting another report immediately afterwards.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel
for WKRG-TV during the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on the Sunday of
the sixth day of this May ("WKRG News 5 This Morning: Sunday") appeared
to have had its news presenter (Chad Petri)
presenting a report in an inquisitive way ("Today marks two weeks
since a woman was arrested at a Saraland Waffle House; sparking
continued protests, but how much longer can they last? Saturday morning
started with a protest outside the Waffle House in midtown Mobile.
Protestors chanted slogans in support of Chikesia Clemons and urged
people to boycott Waffle House; roughly only a dozen people showed up
when we were there.") and a report involving the word "only" ("A second protest Saturday afternoon at the
Saraland Waffle House only had a little more than a dozen people show up
there as well. Organizers debated whether to even go through with the
protest because of the attendance. They eventually decided to go inside
for a sit-in protest" (note: the local news program mentioned in the second paragraph from the top of this report appeared to have the news presenter mentioned in that paragraph introducing a video of a report similar to the ones mentioned in this paragraph in a way similar to the first one mentioned in this paragraph ("News 5's Chad Petri has more on how protests in support of Clemons may be losing some steam")).
