it if not for that trip insurance -- consumer investigator Shannon
Benkhen from our sister station in Tampa, crunched the numbers to help
you make your decision" before having a certain video with a report

up, you have spent
three days watching the draft tirelessly; now it's time for the pro to

operating station -- before the television age, WALA serving the
community through radio -- this Saturday an historic plaque will be
dedicated and placed on the building at the corner of Government and
Joaquin; the previous location of the WALA studios and offices. In our
sixty-five years of television broadcasting, WALA has been a proud
member of the community sharing triumphs as well as tragedies. I want to
thank all of you -- the people on the gulf coast -- for inviting us
into your homes day and night time and time again (note: the local news

presenter named Byron Day presenting a similar report before having a certain video

special day for the station. Byron Day: You bet. Lenise Ligon: A plaque

as the oldest television station in Mobile. Byron Day: Yeah, the
building there at Government and Joaquin streets -- it's been a long
journey and FOX 10 News meteorologist Matt Barrentine
