- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Monday of the thirtieth day of the month of April for this calendar year ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had its news presenter (Lenise Ligon) saying, "Well, good news about some gas prices in the Mobile area: they haven't gone up. The bad news, though, they haven't gone down either. Triple A says gasoline prices are the highest seen since the summer of two thousand fifteen. Experts say the spike at the month is typical this time of year. Unfortunately, studies show that consumer demand for gasoline is at its highest level for the month of April. A silver lining in all of this: Alabama is way below the national average and there is still hope that it's still going to stay under the three-dollar mark".
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 7:00 a.m. on the Sunday appeared to have had audio of one of its presenters (a news presenter named Asha Staples) saying, "And it's time for pets to celebrate you on National Pet Parents Day. The holiday is observed every year on the last Sunday in April honoring the special bond between pets and their owners. Veterinary Pet Insurance founded the day in honor of people who consider pets family; so take a picture with your pet and then use the hashtag National Pet Parents Day on social media or I like to say 'pawrent' -- 'p-a-w' pawrent -- there, those are my two babies, uh, Bella, my yorkie, and Diggs my little -- I don't even know what he is -- he's a rescue, but he's just so precious and, uh, we want to see your pictures so send them to us -- you can send them to me on Facebook or Twitter-- we'd love to share them on today".
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the hour of 7:00 a.m. on the Sunday of the twenty-ninth day of this April ("WKRG News 5 This Morning: Sunday") appeared to have had some of its audio (a report related to sports being presented by one of its presenters (a news presenter named Chad Petri) silenced in an abrupt way before having audio of a certain being saying, "It appears that we're having microphone issues so let's try to pull out my microphone so that we can continue with sports" (note: the program appeared to have had one of its reporters (a weather reporter named Thomas Geboy) saying, "Well sorry for the -- for the microphone issues, there, -- live TV -- sometimes it just happens", the presenter of the aforementioned report saying, "I don't even know if this thing is working any more -- so hopefully it is", and the reporter saying, "So what we'll do now is I'll talk about the weather, Chad can fix his microphone, we'll all be good, and guess what's good, the weather is good as well" immediately afterwards).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the second half of the hour of 9:00 p.m. and the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m.** on the Saturday of the twenty-eighth day of April for this calendar year appeared to have had its weather reporter (Matt Barrentine) saying this at the beginning of one of its reports related to weather: "Well hey there, folks. I'm meteorologist Matt Barrentine here with you tonight with our Columbia Southern University camera high atop the Dauphin's and -- looks clear, doesn't it -- it's because it is -- absolutely gorgeous night here across the gulf coast and looking really great across downtown Mobile here this evening -- looking great everywhere here tonight -- I mean, there's -- it's just clear here there -- we had a clear day. Sunny skies, warm conditions, beautiful spring weather; a lot of great stuff going on like our shred event and other things going on like that we had a lot of folks headed to the beach today. We had great weather everywhere today; beautiful weather today, and we're going to see more of this because we've got some high pressure in place and we have a--a front north of us and you say, oh gosh, a front's coming. Don't worry, this--this thing doesn't have any -- look, I mean look at it; there's no clouds there. So there's no rain there; it's just a quick little wind shift that it's just going to keep reinforcing our nice weather. So no worries, we're going to look good as we go into our Sunday. Here's a -- the temperatures here across the deep south and as you can see there's nothing that chilly there behind that front; so it's not going to have a big impact on anything as it moves through tomorrow, tonight, and then on into tomorrow; so we'll be fine looking at very nice weather once again. So here's what you're going to wake up to: a little bit crisp; comfortable, like you said; it's temperatures down into the fifties; so, don't even -- don't get too used to this, though. We're not going to see a whole lot more of this. We're going to start warming up as we go through the next six/seven days, so, uh, we are looking at a nice morning, but these cool temperatures don't last very long" (note: the beginning of the program (before its opening) appeared to have the reporter saying: "Hey there, folks; Meteorologist Matt Barrentine -- we had an absolutely gorgeous day today. How about we do it all over again tomorrow? Our forecast right here on FOX 10 News".
