News for Sunday, May 6th, 2018
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Friday of
the fourth day of this May ("WKRG News 5 at 5") appeared to have had its news presenters
(Peter Albrecht and Devon Walsh) laughing while having a discussion with
one of its reporters (Joseph Blake (J. B.) Biunno) regarding a certain
report of his.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel
for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the
Friday of the fourth day of this May ("WKRG News 5 at 10") appeared
to have have had one of its reporters and a certain subject for one of
its reports (literally) saying a certain phrase with the letter "N"
being said on its own without explaining its meaning ("the N word").
- The main broadcast channel for WALA-TV appeared to have had a member of their news operation (a news presenter named Lenise Ligon)
conducting an interview for a local news program of theirs that usually
did not have her or other members of the operation conducting interviews for other installments of it that were part of its programming during the hour of 9:00 p.m. in recent times during that very hour on the Friday of the fourth day of this May (the name of the
program was "FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.").
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WKRG-TV during the second half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. on the Friday of
the fourth day of this May appeared to have had no audio for some video of one of its reporters (a weather reporter named Alan Sealls) before appearing to have had a certain map and some audio of a certain being saying, "Don't worry, we're having some problems with hearing chief meteorologist Alan Sealls, but in the studio we have meteorologist Thomas Geboy who is standing by" at a volume lower than that of the audio it had before then before having audio of a certain being saying, "So we'll wait to hear from, uh, chief meteorologist Alan Sealls, but let's just go ahead and--" at a volume higher than that of the audio it had before then before appearing to have had audio of the reporter immediately afterwards with a similar level of volume.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel
for WALA-TV during the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Wednesday of the second
day of this May ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") appeared to have had an
animated sequence involving graphics resembling text of "THIS IS
BALDWIN" before appearing to have had one of its news presenters (Lenise Ligon) saying,
"All right, a staple in Baldwin County is the Punta Clara Kitchen" and
the other one (Byron Day) saying, "Oh, boy -- if you've got a sweet tooth, it's a
must-go when you're -- when you're in the Point Clear area and that's a
place we're highlighting in our 'This is Baldwin" segment in our next
half hour" immediately afterwards whereas the second half of the program appeared
to have had the same the sequence before appearing to have had the first news presenter
mentioned saying, "This is Baldwin County and tonight we're kicking off a
new series by going to Point Clear" and the other one saying, "You bet,
our Hal Scheurich joins us now live at a little candy shop you
definitely don't want to miss. Trust me. Hal", and the "Hal Scheurich"
mentioned by him saying, "That's right, Byron and Lenise. If you find
yourself traveling along the Eastern Shore down around Point Clear, there is a must-stop along the way; this is a family-owned business for
generations and, the -- it's one of those places that -- when--when you go
by it, you smell it -- it's just that good and, it's, uh, a little place
called Punta Clara's Candy Kitchen" immediately afterwards before
appearing to have had video of a separate report involving the words "Punta Clara Kitchen" being presented.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Friday of
the fourth day of this May ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to
have had one of its news presenters (Byron Day) saying, "All right, the
BayBears have reached into their farm system here at FOX 10 to find
another pitcher and tonight it's our award-winning investigative
reporter Kati Weis throwing out the first pitch at tonight's game
against the the Lookouts. Let's go to the video tape! Doh -- ok, if it
was little league we were going to strike -- no, great effort, Kati.
That's kind of tough to do as Lenise knows with all those people in
those stands", its other news presenter (Lenise Ligon) saying, "Um,
excuse me? Hey, I had a great throw", and the one mentioned first
saying, "Yes, you did, you certainly did (Lenise Ligon: Ah-huh), and
Kati's effort was very, very good, and you had a good throw, though"
and a certain video involving digital graphics with
texts of "KATI WEIS THROWS FIRST PITCH" and "BAYBEARS GAME" immediately after the phrase, "Let's go the video tape!" was said (note: the
local news program that appeared on the channel during the hour of 6:00
a.m. on the Saturday of the fifth day of this May ("FOX 10 News at 6:00 a.m.") appeared to have a news presenter of its own (Asha Staples) presenting a statement similar to the one quoted near the beginning of this paragraph while having the same video, graphics, and texts that appeared on the other program ("And speaking
of baseball, the Mobile BayBears have reached into their farm system
here at FOX 10 to find another pitcher -- last night it was our
investigative reporter Kati Weis throwing out the first pitch -- it
didn't quite make it over home plate, but, still a great effort by Kati, so be sure to head on out to the BayBears home games every Friday
night and you may see another familiar face on--from FOX 10")).
