News for Tuesday, May 29th, 2018
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Monday of the twenty-eighth
day of this May ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of
its reporters (a weather reporter named Adam Olivier) saying, "That's
crazy" for one of its reports (one regarding a tropical cyclone that existed in the calendar year 1953 named "Alice" and a tropical cyclone that existed earlier that calendar year named "Alberto").
- One of the news presenters for the local news programs that appeared on
the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hours of 5:00 p.m. and
9:00 p.m. and the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Monday of
the twenty-eighth day of this May ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.", "FOX 10
News at 9:00 p.m.", and "FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m." respectively) each
appeared to had been a certain member of their news operation (named
Shelby Myers) who was usually a news presenter only for the local news
programs that were part of its programming on Saturday and Sunday
evenings in recent times.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Monday of the twenty-eighth
day of this May ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had the
news presenter mentioned in the paragraph above this one saying, "Steve
said earlier it
really was a beautiful day on Dauphin Island at least -- you never
know",
its other news presenter (Byron Day) saying, "Yeah. Yeah. At five o'clock -- I mean
the sun was out, the skies were just beautiful blue and--and-- a lot more
places saw more sun than they thought they thought they were going to
see" immediately afterwards and the one mentioned first saying, "Yeah,
just crazy how weather works like that" immediately afterwards before appearing to have had her
presenting a report with phrases such as, "Scary statistics" and, "Looks
can be deceiving".
- The local news program that appeared on
the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the second half of the
hour of 4:00 a.m. and the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. ("WKRG News This Morning") and the one that appeared on it during the first half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. this Tuesday ("WKRG News 5 at Noon")
appeared to had been a certain member of their news operation (named
Jason Carter) who was usually a news presenter only for the local news programming it had on Saturday and Sunday
evenings in recent times instead of the member who was usually a news presenter for both of them in previous installments of them that were part of its programming during those times (Bill Riales) (update for Wednesday, May 30th, 2018: the installments of the programs that appeared on the channel this Wednesday also appeared to have the member named Jason Carter presenting news reports for them).
- The news presenter for the local news programs that appeared on the main
broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 7:00
a.m. on the Sunday of the twenty-seventh day of this May ("FOX 10 News at 6:00 a.m." and "FOX 10 News at 7:00
a.m.") appeared to have a certain member of their news operation (named Steve Alexander Ozenovich)
who was
usually not the news presenter for previous installments of them that
appeared on the channel in those periods of time on Sunday before then
in recent times instead of the one who was usually the news presenter for those installments (Asha Staples) (note: the beginning of the installment of the first program mentioned that appeared on the channel that Sunday member appeared to have had audio of the member named Steve
Alexander Ozenovich saying, "Stay tuned, you're watching your only local
news at six a.m." in spite of the main broadcast channel having for WEAR-TV having a local news program of their own (named "Three in the Morning Weekend") in that period of time that day).
