News for Thursday, August 31st, 2017

  • A Facebook page attributed to a weather reporter for the local news operation at WKRG-TV named Alan Sealls had a message attributed to him dated for this Thursday concerning some responses to some special weather programming they had on their main broadcast channel on the Wednesday of the thirtieth day of this August. 
  • The main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV had video about a plan for the main broadcast channel of WFNA-TV* to have special programming about a certain type of football game expected to occur this Thursday (including the time in which the channel was expected to begin having it (the beginning of the hour of 6:00 p.m.**).   
  • A Facebook page attributed to WALA-TV appeared to have had some live videos of the hosts of a local TV program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles (Joe Emer and Chasity Byrd of "Studio 10") speaking between some parts of it that had appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 since the Tuesday of the twenty-ninth day of this August. 
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Tuesday of the twenty-ninth day of this August ("WKRG News 5 at 10") had one of the sports reporters of their local news operation (Randy Patrick Setterstrom) using the part of the program about sports to present what he had called a "reminder" for holders of licenses to capture fish and hunt animals other than humans in the state of Alabama to have those licenses renewed by this Thursday.
(*WKRG-TV and WFNA-TV were related to each other due to their being members of a holding company named the Nexstar Media Group)
 (**the channel had a graphic with the words "Technical Difficulties. Please Stand By" whereas a World Wide Web page and a Facebook page attributed to WKRG-TV had messages attributed to this administrations about this type of game being delayed by "severe weather")
