News for Friday, January 19th, 2018

  • The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. and the second half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the eighteenth day of this January ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m." and "FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had some video of one of their regular news presenters (Bob Grip) dated for the calendar year 1985 between some other video they had for one of their news reports.
  • The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. and the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. this Friday ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.", "FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.", and "FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m") each appeared to have had a certain video of one of their regular news presenters (Lenise Ligon) conducting an interview with its other regular news presenter (Bob Grip) (note: the beginning of the first program mentioned appeared to have had the one named Bob Grip saying, "Lenise Ligon has the night off").
  • A local TV program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 a.m. this Friday ("Studio 10") had audio of one of its (regular) hosts (Chasity Byrd) saying, "FOX 10 will have a float in tomorrow's parade, so come on out and see us. I believe Mister Bob Grip is participating in the parade tomorrow" in a discussion related to a plan to hold a certain type of parade (involving a certain Dauphin Island) and audio of its other (regular) host (Joe Emer) saying, "You can definitely want to come on out to see Bob and the folks from FOX 10 and all the folks from all over who are coming out for the people's parade" immediately afterwards. 
  • The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channels for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. and the one that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during both halves of it this Friday ("WKRG News 5 at 5" and "FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") each had one of their regular news presenters (Peter Albrecht for the first program mentioned; Bob Grip for the second program mentioned) presenting reports of their respective broadcast operations having the will to be part of a certain type of parade (involving a certain Dauphin Island) (the report on the first program mentioned specifically concerned a member of the news operation for WKRG-TV named Hayley Minogue whereas the one on the second program specifically concerned its presenter and certain other members of the news operation for WALA-TV named Matt Barrentine, Adam Olivier, and Shelby Myers).
