(note: the previous report for this weblog ("News for Saturday, January 27th, 2018") was amended)
  • A World Wide Web site attributed to WPMI-TV appeared to have had an article dated for the Friday of the twenty-sixth day of this January with details of a plan for WPMI-TV and WJTC-TV* to have special TV programming related to parades between the Thursday of the first day of the month of February for this calendar year and the Tuesday of the thirteenth day of the same month (note: the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV during the first half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Saturday of the twenty-seventh day of this January ("NBC 15 News [at 5]") appeared to have its news presenter (Zora Ethel Asberry) presenting a related to the plan).
  • The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. and the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the twenty-fifth day of this January ("WKRG News 5 at 6" and "WKRG News 5 at 10" respectively) each had a video of a report concerning a person described as their "athlete of the week" (note: some of the local news programming for the channel during the previous calendar week had videos of similar reports).
  • The second local news program for WKRG-TV mentioned in the paragraph above this one for this report had audio of one of its reporters (a sports reporter named Randy Patrick Setterstrom) speaking of having told a certain Baker Mayfield that he had voted for him for (or "in") a certain type of vote ("the Heisman Trophy vote") and of this Baker Mayfield saying, "Take a selfie" in response to what he was regarding that vote.
  • The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the twenty-fifth day of this January ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") appeared to have had a live video of one of its reporters (Lee Peck) speaking of having been chosen to be part of a plan to "execute" (kill) a certain person that day.
(*WPMI-TV and WJTC-TV were released to each other due to their being members of a holding company named the Sinclair Broadcast Group)
