News for Saturday, January 27th, 2018 (amended)

(note: the fourth paragraph below this message was amended for clarity (specifically the part of it regarding a certain Twitter page) and the word "be" was added between the words "and" and "sure" in the fifth paragraph paragraph below this one) 
  • The main broadcast channel for WALA-TV appeared to have had a video of a member of the news operation at WALA-TV (Bob Grip) using his voice to invite viewers of theirs to the idea of touring the state of Alaska with him between the Tuesday of the twenty-first day of the month of August for this calendar year and the Friday of the second day of September for this calendar year between some of the programs it usually had in recent times earlier this calendar week (note: a World Wide Web site attributed to WALA-TV had a hyperlink ("FOX10 Cruise with Bob") to a site with details related to what he was saying). 
  • A World Wide Web site related to the holding company for WALA-TV (the Meredith Corporation) appeared to have had an advertisement (dated for this calendar week) for a position categorized as being located in "Alabama-Mobile" described as that of an "Anchor / Reporter" (note: some of the local news programming WALA-TV had on their main broadcast channel earlier this January had reports of the member of the news operation at WALA-TV usually described as an "anchor" for the operation in recent times mentioned in the paragraph above this one being set to retire from the operation at the end of the month of January for the next calendar year (2019)). 
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Friday of the twenty-sixth day of this January ("WKRG News 5 at 10") appeared to have had one of its reporters (specifically a sports reporter named Randy Patrick Setterstrom) saying this after presenting a report of a "practice flyover" for a certain type of game of football planned for the city of Mobile for this Saturday (a "Senior Bowl" game): "Again the game kicking off at 1:30; I'll be doing the color commentary on the radio along with Lee Shirvanian on one-oh-five-point-five (105.5) WNSP", one of its news presenters (Mel Showers), saying, "And I'll just tune in to that", the reporter saying, "We'll say 'hey' to you" immediately afterwards, and the news presenter saying, "Yeah, right, thank you Randy. We'll be back with more in just a moment" immediately afterwards.
  • The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. and the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Friday of the twenty-sixth day of this January ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.", "FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.", and "FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") each appeared to have had a member of the news operation at WALA-TV not listed as a member of the operation on a World Wide Web site attributed to it (Shelby Myers) appearing as one of their news presenters in place of a certain member listed on the page who usually appeared as one of their news presenters in previous installments of them in recent times (Bob Grip) (note: A Facebook page attributed to WALA-TV appeared to have had live video of the member not listed on the page with the other member of the operation listed on the page who was usually one of their news presenters in previous installments of them in recent times (Lenise Ligon) on the aforementioned Friday whereas a Twitter page attributed to the member not listed on the other page appeared to have had a description of her in regards to her positions at WALA-TV ("investigative reporter and weekend nightly anchor for FOX10 WALA")).
  • The local news program for WKRG-TV mentioned in the second paragraph below the note near the top of this report appeared to have had the news presenter for it mentioned in that paragraph saying, "This Sunday the sixtieth annual Grammy Awards ceremony will take place right here on News 5 and CBS. The four-and-a-half-hour program begins at 5:30 and be sure to stay tuned after the awards for Rose Ann Haven, Randy Patrick, and Alan Sealls for News 5 at 10 o'clock. I'll be here, too." (the local news program that appeared on the channel during the second half of the hour of 4:00 a.m. on the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. earlier that day ("WKRG News 5 This Morning") appeared to have had its news presenter (Bill Riales) making a similar statement: "And this weekend, the sixtieth annual Grammy Awards ceremony will take place right here on News 5 and CBS. The four-and-a-half-hour program begins at 5:30 with live coverage from the red carpet and this year as you just saw James Corden of 'The Late Late Show' will host the event -- full, [for] a big full list of performers and nominees, you can visit, wha--our Web site, WKRG dot com (WKRG.com) to find out who's been nominated. Be sure to stay tuned after the awards for Mel, Rose Ann, Randy, and Alan. They'll be in for News 5 at 10 o'clock on Sunday" (note: A Facebook page attributed to WKRG-TV appeared to have had an image related to what the news presenters were saying (both of the programs with the presenters appeared to have had an image similar to the one of the page while having the presenters presented the aforementioned statements attributed to them shortly after they had started presenting them)).
(update for Monday, January 29th, 2018: the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV after the special programming it had regarding the type of awards ceremony mentioned in the statements attributed to the news presenters mentioned in the paragraph above this one on the Sunday of the twenty-eighth day of this January did not have the presenter named Mel Showers).
